Rock Jacket

This jacket was an editors pick in one of the gear mags and I can tell why. I really do like this jacket for use as an outer layer when the weather is not wet and as a inner insulation layer when its a bit colder. I really like the hood. Its very soft and stretchy and follows your head when you look left and right and does not restrict your vision at all. It is tight enough to fit under my helmet and makes for a nice alternative to a hat. Of course wind pro is not perfect at stopping wind so on a cold day you may feel the cold in your ears.



This jacket is very stretchy and does not hinder your movement at all. The outer is treated with a hard face finish that makes it really easy to put on under other soft shells like Power Shield. The inner is nice and soft.



I can thing of many people who would like this jacket, climbers, mountaineers, snow boarders, skiiers, and just for around town.



Oh its down to 79 bucks so the price is so right. I think REI has done a bad job advertising this jacket so they maybe taking it off the shelves so find yours fast before they sell out!

I bought the Rock Jacket when the price dropped to $60. At that price it's a great value. It's not the most refined jacket--it's cut a little looser than Arc'teryx and other high end products. It will creep up more when you reach for a hold.m But it is comfortable and durable. It is resistant to wind, rain and snow.
