Excellent lightlweight tent that packs small and sets up quickly. You do need to use a trekking pole for holding up the front end of this tent but if you don't use trekking poles, you can buy or utilize any pole that gives you 48" of height. The blurb on this tent says it can sleep two, NOT. Two adults fitting in this tent would be a mighty tight squeeze but it is great for one and your gear. It is light enough at a little over two pounds that you can think of it as a one man shelter.

The ventilation is very important so I found that it worked best if you left the front door

flapped open and you still have the no see um netting between you and the elements. Rain doesn't tend to be a problem due to the unique design of this tent, designed by Ron Moak of Portland, who has thru hiked several of the major trails. I had it out on a 5 night trip during the first week in september and was pleased with it although I had one night of condensation inside the tent. I might add that the other member of my group had condensation inside of his Hennessey Hammock as well. I loved the quick set up of this tent and the light weight and to me these are big pluses. I gave it four stars because of the two person claim and the condensation I experienced. All in all, this is the tent I'd take with me into the Sierra's for doing the JMT.
