The summit is situated in the nature protection area of Vellacher Kotschna with many unique species of plants and animals.

It is nice to combine the tour to Vellacherturm/Storzek with the summits of Ledinski Vrh 2.108m or Velika Baba 2.127m. The Summit is not an easy hiking peak: on the ascend from Vellacher Kocna there is a Via Ferrata (Class: KS3 – B) and on the other side you can hike the South-Wets ridge (Class: UIAA II, not marked). On both sides it is quite a long hike to get to the access of the final sections (Via Ferrata and South-Wets ridge)

Children

Children refers to the set of objects that logically fall under a given object. For example, the Aconcagua mountain page is a child of the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits.' The Aconcagua mountain itself has many routes, photos, and trip reports as children.
