These are very similar to their counterpart Pallas Pants but with some important technical upgrades. In addition to the stretchy, wind resistant, and ventilating Windbloc ACT, PowerStretch 100 inseam panels for ventilation and mobility, full side zips, and Velcro-elastic waist, there are PowerShield knees and butt which maintain the benefits of Windbloc ACT but add the durability you'll want for serious abuse. The BIG plus is the P-System zipper that matches up with Quasar Bibs. In conditions where you'll be wearing both of these pieces, you'll definitely appreciate that zipper! There's also a zippered rear pocket for stashing important stuff.

From OR Astroid collection:

Comfortable, full side zippers for ventilation and putting on over crampons, ski boots, etc.

Hiking in Nepal, wore as outer pants until Goretex layer was necessary and then wore as fleece underwear. Windstopper fleece with a stretchy area along the inseam that allows ventilation and allows for a sharp fit.

I added a snap at the bottom of the cuffs to allow the pants to be unzipped on the sides without the cuffs flapping all over.
