3 component telescopic pole with Komperdell antishock on/off mechanism.

Additional grip zone - makes it possible to hold the pole shorter on traverses or steep slopes without adjusting the overall length of the pole.

Anti shock combined with the cork contour grip make these poles extremely functional and comfortable with or without gloves.

The only drawback is that when alot of weight is applied, the poles can unlock and shorten, requiring the ends to be pulled out and relocked.

A pain at times, but they've saved my knees more than I can count.

Nice set of trekking poles. I really like the cork handholds over plastic ones. These things are nice and lightweight and work well for extended periods.

Complaints:

They don't collapse very much for storage, travel, and the technical part of the mountain. It looks a bit funny to see poles sticking way up from your pack.

They seized up after only 1 year.
