The person who recommended them to me from REI said these would be pretty warm for the price and she was right. I have ice climbed in them in well below zero temps and not suffered too bad and never had a problem with cold fingers when doing something other than ice climbing. I have tested them down to at least -10 degrees while climbing and similar when just hiking/camping.

The leather on the palm is a bit soft for ice climbing so it is a bit more worn that it would have been if I had not abused it for a season but very servicable and doesn't look too worn. Lots of straps and cords so if you dont like them then dont get this glove but if you dont want to lose your glove or would like to be able to crank the wrist tight then these are good.

A good glove for the price. I will be testing them up at 14000 feet soon in Dec and Jan so I will report more if I get to use them in colder temps.
