Suitable for quick, fast alpine climbs, Maxim 9.8 mm gives you the safety of a single rope with less bulk and light weight

Fluoropolymer dry treatment deters water absorption and improves abrasion resistance, retaining the strength and lengthening life of your rope
Dynamic kernmantle construction uses a twisted core covered with a braided sheath; core absorbs shock of a fall, sheath protects the core
Offers 10 more meters of rope than traditional 50 meter lengths for extended pitches and longer rappels

Made in USA.

Fantastic Rope feel and handling- worth investing in the bi-colour option!

One of the most supple ropes I've handled. The kernmantle rebounds quickly after weighted statically by large sustained loads. Handling of belay is a dream. A must have in the inventory for alpine climbs!

I'm a bit confused about the product we're reviewing here. Both Maxim (US) and Mammut (Swiss) are rope manufacturers and I'm not aware of a Mammut rope named Maxim?!

I hate this rope. I bought it after my infinity wore out (which I loved) and was very disappointed. It handles like a piece of wire and feeds poorly through belay devices. Don't buy this rope.
