The ultimate mountain jacket for a wide range of conditions. A simple, sturdy design for versatility, constructed with triple-needle cover stitching throughout. The secret to this garment is the innovative Swiss Schoeller® Dryskin fabric that provides an optimum combination of strength, snow-shedding ability, wind-resistance, stretch, and breathability. Hollow capillary fibres on the inside of the fabric transport moisture and allow for quick drying.



  • 80% nylon / 15% polyester / 5% Lycra® blend.

Untitled Review
No frills water resistant, windproof jacket for rock and ice climbing or general posing. Looks good. Fits close to the body and stretches for more physical activities. No special features (decide for yourself if this is a bonus or a hinderance). No lining means exposed inner seams. Very good value alternative to items like the Mountain Harwear Alchemy jacket.

This jacket may be more simplistic than others on the market but I still give it 5 stars because of the value. The Scholler Dryskin Extreme fabric is very tough and sheds snow and rain surprisingly well. The breathability of this sofshell is excellent and the trim cut compliments the stretch in the fabric. I got mine on clearance for $99 (Canadian $). The new version has a hood. I have used it for rock climbing and XC skiing and have been more than happy. I will use it this coming summer on the Wapta Icefields. I also have the pants (Ferrata Ultra) and HIGHLY recommend them.
