This is a nice, small, light weight camera for use in the backcountry. It has different settings for action (skiing etc.), panoramic shots, close ups, or just automatic. The upload time is very quick and direct camera to computer with a USB connection. No need for card reader orr docking station. Using lithium batteries it has operated to temperatures in the teens. Be aware of the system requirements for the computer. I was not and wound up with a decision, return the camera or upgrade computer operating system. I upgraded the computer OS
