Blending the classic comfort, ventilation and durability of the Momentum with the supreme adjustability of dual SpeedAdjust waist buckles and fully adjustable leg loops, the Black Diamond Momentum DS is a lightweight, all-purpose harness for 3-season use. Our trakFIT leg loop adjustment system uses a simple, secure slide adjuster to quickly and easily adjust the diameter of the leg loop and provide a wide range of fit. The Momentum DS also features our Dual Core Construction, which uses two slim bands of high-tensile webbing in combination with an OpenAir foam insert to provide breathability and comfort without sacrificing either.

Overview

This harness has it almost all: comfort, great gear loops, sleek design and beefy belay loop (it does not have a trail line loop). The gear loops are nice because they are rigid, stick out from the harness and are easy to clip. They are also right next to each other; there is not an annoying gap for that special plastic biner for ice climbing protection (sorry ice climbers). The leg loops are easy to release, much easier to release than on the higher end Black Diamond harnesses. The material inside the waist and leg loops is cozy and comfy.
