Route Description
On the Carl Bremer Weg. This route starts from the hut Essener Rostocker and crosses the east slopes and then goes over the south slopes to the main ridge.
From the hut you follow the marked route number 919 in the south direction. First you walk almost on the same altitude when you do the crossing over the east slopes of Rostocker Egge. The route is nice marked and goes over the nice grassy slopes. When you come to the end of the crossing you turn to the north direction and you ascend in many switchbacks over the slopes called Maurer Alm. After this you come to the upper rocky part where you soon reach the main ridge and summit.
