Approach
From the west on Route 50 – 6.0 miles past the 76 station in Kyburz, there’s a sign for Wrights Road on the right, which comes up quickly. Wrights Road/Route 4 is paved and goes left up to Wrights lake.
Route Description
From Wrights Lake, take the Rockbound Pass Trail up through the pass (8600 ft). On the other side stop to enjoy Lake Doris and its meadows then continue down to China Flat. China Flat at 7500 feet, sits at the base of Dicks. From there you have a few options. The easiest is probably up the saddle between the north side and the 3 distictive, 9200 foot humps at the end of the ridge. From there scramble south to the summit.
