Approach


From Seattle Take I-90E towards Snoqualmie Pass. Take first summit exit and turn left at stop onto Alpental Road. Follow to Alpental Ski Resort main parking lot. From there enter Snow Lake Tail head. Pay the fee!

Route Description


From the trail head head up mountain following river gully on the right. When river meets cliffs scramble up them to the left. There is a good place to cross about 30 yards from the top of the gully. At the top of the scramble climb through trees heading towards the left until you reach the clearing that reveals the cliff bands and in the distance the summit. At clearing head up coulior on the right. At top of coulior scramble up the rocks/ cliffs to reach the ride that leads directly to the summit.

Essential Gear


Ice axe, rope, harness, treking poles, and lots of water are all nessesary during winter. Crampons could be helpful but depends on your ability and confidence.
