Lone Pine Peak, the jewel of the Sierras

Lone Pine Peak offers one of the best views the Eastern Sierras have to offer. It's visible from the town of Lone Pine, and it looks higher than it's much bigger neighbor Mount Whitney. The majestic and rocky ridges of Lone Pine Peak rise steeply from the valley floor and create the best setting for sunrise photography.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
