Overview
The "Via delle Creste" is a panoramic and aerial path that covers all the southern ridge of the Resegone, from Passata to the Cima Cermenati, touching the several secondary tops the more important and defined the Cima Quarenghi.Starting from Brumano you can reach Passata Pass, then Cima Cermenati (the top) and descending to Brumano by normal route, completing the turn of the resegone
Getting There
You can reach Brumano exiting to the casello of Dalmine of the A4 freeway and continuing along SS 470 bis until Villa d'Almè following then the indication for Valle Imagna (SP 14).Route Description
From Brumano follow the indication of Resegone through wide glade. To the beginning of the forest follow the indications for "La Passata, Rif. Alpinisti Monzesi". The path is in plain and continuous in the forest until the Passo della Porta (1150 m) and, in short time you arrived to the Passata (1250 m) - 1:15 from Brumano. Here it begins "Via delle Creste" - red mark n°571. The path begins steep in the forest continuing along the south ridge. Through a steep path on glades and cliffs it is arrived to the Cima Quarenghi.The path continues up and down for glades and cliffs nearly the ridge with beautiful panoramas on Valle Imagna and Lecco. The path reach the Città di Lecco bivouac very close to Rif. Azzoni, under the Cima Cermenati. 2:30 h from Passata.
