A Little About Me
The Sierras have been my hiking and backpacking playground for over 40 years. Over the decades I have summited fifty plus peaks (all class 3 or less) and continue to be drawn back to venture in new areas.
Living in South Lake Tahoe, I have close, easy access to great Randonee skiing which occupies the winter months. Summertime sees me mountain biking in many of the great nearby areas. I have been bonded to Lake Tahoe for 30 years and appreciate the beauty, clean air, and Sierras at my doorstep.
On July 6, 2004, I hiked to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The accompanying photo is me near the top.
