A Little About Me
Former very active rock/ice climber. Shoulder problems have made me switch to primarily be a hiker although I can still do OK climbing off the couch - it just hurts for a while.
I joined the Highpointers club and did the summits of all 50 states - now chasing 5000 foot prominence in the lower 48.
I prefer to do loops or one of the more challenging routes if I have the chance with the right partner. For example, I have done Liberty Ridge on Rainier and the Direct Exum on the Grand Teton. Hoping to do the North Ridge of Mt. Baker next summer.
For years loved Yosemite and Joshua Tree - lots of rock climbing trips to each. Love the mountains.
