Nice album!You really took fantastic pics of the Dolomites, my compliments.
But the title of the album sounds funny, you have to call it " Tutte le mie foto delle Dolomiti".

Re: Oh la la...Mate I just added some more photos from the weekend trip to Brenta, you gotta get there it's amazing. Unfortunately our ropes were too short for the longest pitch of the Campanile Basso... we might go back in late August/early September to tackle it. How was Tatra? G

Re: Oh la la...Thanks! We had two half ropes, each 50m... two of the pitches on the normal route of il Campanile Basso were listed as being 50m long each, so we didn't really have enough for comfort. In any case, we hadn't originally set out to climb it, but it was very very tempting once we were there! With luck it'll only be a few weeks before we can try again (prepared). G

Re: Oh la la...Back in 1984 I climbed the Ampferer-Berger Route with a 45 m rope. It's been too long for me to recall the details, but I still have a guidebook that divides the route in 13 pitches of 40 m or less. Maybe there is new fixed pro that requires longer ropes... Have fun and let us know how it goes!

Re: Oh la la...Wilco. The notes we looked at in Rif Brentei were a printout sitting loose in a hand-written folder of new routes that they keep, an amazing resource! But I didn't get a chance to look at a guidebook that was less than 30 years old...

Re: Oh la la...Yeah, I see!! Looks really good, you are damn good photographer. Too bad about Campanile Basso but as ju said, just get back in the saddle again another time. The mountains will still be there!;)
About Tarta, it was very rewarding. Hiked around the Slovak/Polish border and around in the Rysy area! Think Im going back in winter.
