Overview
The Desna rivaer valley is a gate leading to the High Jesenik.When walking through the valley we meet a gems of folk architecture
, natural curiosities, and so on...To sum up there is a lot of possibilities of active leisure time. One of the most interesting object is hydropower plant which is the contest winner for 7 miracles of Czech Republic.
It is worth to visit Velke Losiny with its castle from XVIth century with - the only one in the country - handmade paper manufactury, numerous trails, which are available also for handicapped.
In addition we can take a rest - after a hike - in a pool with a temperature of water ~ 36,8°C that is located in the Moravia's oldest thermal sanatory.
The other mention-worth places are Lucna nad Desnou, Sobotin with a 12 km mineralogical trail, that is a place of apperance of interesting minerals.
The other turist destinations are for example: Protected Area of Serak-Keprnik - the oldest in the Moravia region, Skrite moor, Jeleni Studanka with a famous stone shelter, Cervonohorskie Sedlo that offers many hiking trails.
In the region exists also routes for ski tourism, ski-resorts and mountain bike routes.
