Overview

Peak H

The South Face of Peak H offers the easiest route to any summit in the Ripsaw Ridge and would also be an easy descent route for anyone climbing Peak G.

Route

Upper Piney Lake

Hike from Piney Like along Piney River Trail to the Upper Piney Valley until you are right below the North Face of The Spider.

Piney River Trail sees lots of traffic only on its first section to the Piney River Falls. Few hikers venture much further than that - you will most likely not see another soul on the rest of your hike. The trail crosses several swampy meadows - when in a group, fan out to lessen the impact on the vegetation.

When you are standing right below The Spider's North Face, turn to your left. Peak H is rising right above you.

The South Face of Peak H consists of gently sloped meadows - getting to the summit is almost a walkup and requires only very minor scrambling close to the summit.

No special equipment needed except sturdy boots
