Unfortunately, we could not capture the last 500 ft in any of our photos (busy and scared climbing)....but this is a very good photo...give you a good sense of inclination...
I would say, it was more than 50 deg...

That slope is consistent in its grade at 40 degrees. No way it is even close to 50. Slope angles are always deceiving.
