Kuna-Snijeznica

We climbed Snijeznica in late September. The path is easy to find, great landscape and the sight from the top was fantastic. Only the temperature was hard: 35 °C.
Thank you very much for this good description!

Two additions:
- There's now a sign-post with a really good map at the beginning of Kuna village.
- And the croatian mine action center (CROMAG) says, that the region is mine free (http://www.hcr.hr). I don't know how solid this information is.

And at least: It's a good idea to visit the source of river Ljuta after the tour. It's only a few kilometres from Kuna or Mihalivici. The water, that you may miss on the mountain, appears here. There are old mills and canals and two excellent restaurants for a cool drink or a good lunch at the shady river.

Route:Kuna-Snijeznica. I have climbed it with friend Ivica Buljevic and his 8 year old son "mali planinar" Ante.

snijeznica  Sucess!

Very thankful mountain. I started from Kuna, an extraordinary village almost “outside" from this world. The path is easy as you mostly follow the old Austrian road to the top. The day was a little bit foggy so we could not enjoy in a spectacular view on Montenegro Mountains. If you stayed in Dubrovnik for a couple of days, defiantly the place to visit.
