Approach
To approch the begin of the route you have to travel until the SkiCenter of Pertouli. There are 2 buses from Trikala that stops in Ski Center.
By car you can easily reach Ski center traveling 39Km from Trikala city.
Route Description
The route begins from Ski Center. Looking East you can see the highest peak of Koziakas (Chatzipetros 1901m). First you have to cross the small river named Pertouliotis and you will find a dirty road that guide immediately to the start point of the path. The path is signed and after one and half hour you will reach the Mpakola plateau, where there is the refuge Xanonas (1738m). From there less that half an hour in needed in order to reach the highest point of Koziakas.
Essential Gear
No speacial gear in needed. Snow show is propably needed only after big snowfalls in January and February.
