fine page, good description. But isn't Punta Galisia the southernmost mountain of Val di Rhêmes? And acording to the definition on the Gran Paradiso Group page it is west of Gran Paradiso Group (Rutor Group in the system I use)
It seems to me that Punta Calabre is the most popular ski tour from Benevolo hut and there is mostly a track. It can be done even if conditions are not the best because slopes are not so steep.
French name for the mountain is Pointe de Bazel, this should be mentioned. So is the name in the popular Kompass map. In this map there is a "Pointe de Calabre" 1 km east of the real Punta Calabre. Pointe de Calabre is identic with Roc del Fond (3350 or 3351 m). Rather confusing but important!
Also important would be to quote the right map to buy, because this is difficult: I have maps from Kompass (1:50000, Nr. 86), IGC (1:25000 Nr. 102) but the best map available (as I have seen at other climbers on Benevolo hut) is a french map 1:25000 where I don't have any information about.

Untitled CommentAbsolutely perfect ...
I hadn't had time to add cartography (it takes about 21 years to retire, for me ... let me take it easy ;) )
Thanks also for precious note about French name. I forgot it in my description.
This mountain is half-a-way far from Gran Paradiso and Rutor. What about a Tsanteleynaz Group? Should be more correct!
Ciao.
