A selection of bad fotos (BAD DAY FOR FOTOS WITH A THICK MIST AND NONE OF THE EXPECTED GREAT VIEWS NORTH) for when I can write a mountain page, but I have to get to the top first. Failed attempt from the north (town of Fiscal): April 2011.

In 2010 the 8th CARRERA DE MONTAÑA DE CANCIÁS was held.

Distance: A round trip of 25,69km.

Ascent: Elevation in ascencion accummulated: 1,589m. In descent: 1,601m accumulated.

Timing: between 2h 30 and 3 hours. RUNNING.

To hike Canciás along the same route, (north) you're talking some 4h to the summit. It's said to be a shorter, easier route from the south.

I think that Cancias it's a big and interesting peak and in my opinion a page in SP maybe it's a good idea.
I climbed it some years ago and I have some pictures to add if you write the page someday.
