Good all-rounder
This is a good all rounder boot. It's light enough that it can be used comfortably as a day hiking boot, but it is durable and supportive enough to use it on shorter backpacking trips.

Extremely impressed with this boot!
After breaking these boots in, I made a last minute decision to wear them on a 9 day trip in the Wind River Mountains and was surprised at how well they performed and how comfortable they were. Wore them on a 5 day trip into the Grand Canyon in November. Conditions were snowy and very wet at the start of the trip and the boots performed flawlessly.
Bonus feature for me was using them as camp shoes by completely loosening the lacing for a relaxed fit.
I don't think they'd work well in rough, rocky, off-trail terrain.
