Wind Raid Pack 2002

Need a small pack that works really well? I've used mine on 3 day trips but it is ideal for an overnighter when you're going light. My actual pack is the Wind Raid 30L but this is the pack that has replaced the 30L model. It has a couple features that I wish mine had. I like the daisy chain and two bladder features. This pack as well as mine has nice zippered pouch like compartments on the waist belt that allow you to put small items or extra socks in them. This pack has recently been on sale at Moosejaw.com
I use it with my Western Mountaineering Highlight sleeping bag, a bivy shelter and during the warmer months of the year. It rides well and is well constructed. If Moosejaw doesn't have it, you'll have to try google for a search as these packs seem to be few and far between. Another pack similar is the Windraid 300L, almost a twin to this pack in every way, only the name seems to be different so you can also look for this one as well in your search efforts.

Update 10-21-04:

I bought the newer model and have been using it for the past month on dayhikes. Nice and light (26 oz) and is well constructed. It has two hydration pockets and ride very well no matter how poorly I may load it. So far, so good, it looks like a winner. I'll report in more detail when I use it for an overnighter and have to load it with more weight than I've been putting into it.
