Extremely compact thanks to the new and revolutionary way in which the grids can be folded together and then turned to one side. Sold with the piezo igniter.

Nice stove for warm weather outings. Made the mistake of bringing this on a trip with the temp dipping to around 25 degrees...took over 20 minutes to boil 16 ounces of water at night. Stove is very light, and fits inside my cookware which is nice. The "windscreen" that they state is built in isn't anywhere near effective, so bring your own. The piezo lighter is nice....haven't had a problem lighting the stove. Great summer backpacking stove.

I like this stove a great deal, as it has never given me a problem. The matchless lighter is really nice and has never failed on even the first try. My only point of discontent with it is that the fuel cartridges are not reusable. Beyond that, I prefer the simplicity of this product to other stoves I've seen and used, particularly the MSR line which seem to me to require a lot of maintenance and trouble- shooting.

I've had the Techno Trail for 3 years. I paid $35 for it and have been very pleased with its performance. The stove folds down to roughly the size of a tennis ball. The piezo igniter failed only once, but that was at 12,000' and apparently due to atmospheric conditions -- it has worked on the first try every time before and since.
