The upgraded North Face Sliquid hydration pack now holds a whopping 100oz of refreshing fluid. With its aerobic design, the Sliquid is great for activity where thirst looms large like summer hikes and extended bike rides. The backpanel and shoulder straps have breathable aeromesh for quick sweat evaporation. Side compression straps cinch down pack contents which might include an extra layer, food, headlamp, etc. The front pocket stores smaller items like keys or an energy bar, and roomy side pockets fit even more. Strap a wet layer you want to dry on the pack face with the handy bungee cinch.

The Praise
Great piece of gear. This is a comfy, light-weight setup that holds enough for summer dayhikes. Waist & sternum straps keep it in place while climbing, and the mesh back wicks away moisture. The pocket variety allows for organization of smaller gear, while the outside mesh pockets allow for placement of wet socks, bottles, or even compressed rain gear. Perfect for those light/fast folks! Whether dayhiking Mt. Tyndall, Shasta, or Whitney, this baby has done great for me.

The Cons
Not too many!
1) Needs more exterior daisy-chain-like loops. Just a few more of these guys would make it so much easier to strap light crampons, external storage bags, or other items to the outside.
2) Just a little more inside, please! As usual, just a little more space would really help things! maybe just some bellow-like folds on the exterior pockets or something.

Bottom Line
Worth it! Fills in one end of the pack arsenal.
