Great pack, awesome design: the separate storage area on the back of the back is very useful. Perfect for stowing raingear or anything else you might need to get at quickly. The zippered mesh nylon divider that separates this pocket from the main storage area performs its function very well.

Plenty of straps and places to tie off, and reasonably comfortable to wear.

Big mesh pockets on either side are great for storing water bottles, water filter, extra layers, etc.

Tough construction: I've had mine about 4 years and it's had its fair share of abuse, but is still going strong. No signs of real wear, in fact.

A great pack for 3 or 4 day outings... for longer or winter trips it requires some effort to get everything in there (and I own the large version).

Very happy with it...

Great for 3-4 days
Love this pack for a 3-4 day backpack where I will be toting beer, whiskey and lots of good food. Don't use it for technical ascents, but carries well under heavy summer loads.
