Product Description

This is a lightweight down bag rated to +40 degrees F. All weight that could be trimmed has been taken off leaving a small and tight fitting sleeping bag with an amazing amount of warmth for its high temp rating.

Features

750 fill down with lightweight nylon shell. there is a 3/4 length zipper. 1 lb 3 ounces.

other than that, it's just a simple sleeping bag that works surprisingly well.

my experience...

i've used this bag a countless number of times in the washington cascades during the summer. obviously this isn't an early spring or fall and winter bag, but for summer it's great. It is extremely light with a good amount of loft. even though it has a high rating of +40, it works well down the actual rating rather than 10 degrees warmer like most bags.

i've found this bad especially great for overnight climbs where i know i'm going to have to bivy. with a belay jacket and shell pants over my normal climbing clothes, this bag will work well even in 30 degree weather if inside a bivy sack.

this would also work well for a just in case sleeping bag for bigger mountain routes as it weighs nearly nothing.

sure, it isn't the best sleeping bag in the world, but for the price i paid, i have no complaints. i'd say this bag compares with other lightweight bags that are 3 times more expensive. and when it comes down to it, i'll save $200 and take the extra 1.5 ounces.
