My newest lens (just got it last week). I am currently testing it, so I will update this review regarding image quality later. However, it is an extremely lightweight and small lens. As you can probably tell by now with all the Tokina lenses I've added, I'm a big fan. They offer outstanding glass at very reasonable prices. Finding a 17mm lens at $225 (brand new and not "grey" market) is a pretty good deal in my book. I could've spent another $150 for an AF version (the AT-X version of this lens), but I really don't see the point of having an AF super-wide angle lens....don't need it. Will update this soon (hopefully) regarding the image quality. However, the focusing is awesome on this....it's a little "firm", which makes it easier. Stay tuned...
