Reach La Col du Blanc either form Le Tete Blanche North Face route if doing the Tete Blanche - Petite Fourche Combination, or from Le Glacier du Tour.

Route Description

Climb the obvious snow slope that leads to a col between two rocky summits. Then go left to the higuest summit (easy rocky terrain) thru a system of wide gullies and boulders.

The descent is done via the same route above and then droping to the Le Glacier du Tour. If going back to the Trient Cabine you must go down the Glacier du Tour and then cross the Col du Tour or Col Superior du Tour (check conditions!) towards the Trient Glacier.

Essential Gear

Just walking axe and rope.

If icy conditions are present, is better to use some screws to have a running belay or regular belay, if team ability requires it. Also is possible to belay on the rocks on either side of the snow slope.

Glacier walking equipement, crampons, prusiks, etc.
