At the top of the ski slope follow the grass ridge aiming at the Punta Grohman. follow the path and turn around Punta Grohman. Pass Torre Innerkofler and continue on the path until you are below the Forcella Orientale Sassopiatto.
Then turn right and follow the upward path until you reach the Forcella. Keep in mind that you will find snow, so an ice axe is appreciated. This will take about 2 or 3 hours from the car to the forcella (according to you speed and to the conditions of the snow).

Route Description

Initially you go over an initial big rock (about 20/30 m). Then slight descend (II degree).
Then you have to follow a small gully that progressively stands up. (about III degree). Continue until you reach a vertical slope (III/III+) that you pass easily.
Go up again and you are on the summit ridge. Follow it and you will be easily on the top.
The climbing is easy and it is well marked with small pieces of rope. The approach is quite long and boring
