Neil's Not Young Anymore

"Old Man Take A Look At This Line..."

'Neil's Not Young Anymore' is located directly in the middle of the west face of Scot Rock. To access the west face, rappel from the top of Scot Rock (80') from the 2 bolt anchors with chains located on the western side of the summit.

The start is identified by a thin seam (enough to get finger tips on) slanting up and right. The first bolt is just right of this seam. Climb the seam, clip the bolt and continue straight up past the next three bolts. Just before reaching the 5th bolt, a slightly overhanging bulge is encountered (the crux). Step up onto steep friction and clip the bolt. Reach above to a thin horizontal crack (somewhat height dependant) and match hands onto this crack. Continue to extend and then reach a small pancake flake up and left. Side pull this flake to a slot up and to the right (fingerlock slot). Crank up on the slot and bring the feet over the bulge and onto the horizontal crack. Continue up on thin holds for the next series of moves before any relief begins (big jug 10 feet above the crux). Clip the sixth and final bolt (located left of a thin vertical seam) and climb the remaining 15' feet to the anchors. Lower off.
