Muntpitschen, seen from near the saddle between Piz Sesvenna and Foratrida

I'm on my way to Piz Sesvenna right now, but this one looks interesting too. Later that day I would have a go at it, intending to climb the SW ridge. I only got as far as the base of the ridge, just outside this photo on the right. The whole thing turned out to be a pile of loose rocks. I wasn't happy with the risks involved, and since I want to become an old mountaineer, I didn't pursue it. I guess it must be safer in spring, when snow on the rocks keeps the mountain together. 24 Aug 2014.
