Overview

A fun, technical ridge route to go from valley to summit.

Getting There

Start at the Elderberry Canyon Trailhead near Rovana, CA.

Route Description

Start at the Elderberry Canyon trailhead, ascend the ridge that separates Elderberry and Dingleberry Canyons. At the top of the ridge, achieve the North Ridge by avoiding cornices along the east side of the north ridge and finish with a short hike to the summit. The majority of the North Ridge has large cornices on the east side so choosing the correct route to the North Ridge from the East Ridge is essential.

Essential Gear
