Wildflowers at their height

The flower show actually began down around the 9200' level but it just kept getting better the higher i hiked on the Timpanooke trail. I wish my camera did a better job but it is just a point and shoot and did give me a taste of what I saw to take back to my wife.

Beautiful!

Beautiful album of beautiful flowers; just love your mountain shot with stone grandeur softened by the flowers and the path drawing you upward....

Thank you Kathy, it was a special treat for me and I must admit that I'm not usually "wow'd" by wildflowers but this mountain just overwhelmed me this year. Unfortunately, the pics I took really don't do justice to the beauty I saw with my eyes.
