Las Cuevas Route, Nevado de Cachi

Las Cuevas is perhaps the oldest known route, the first part of it belonges to a very old commercial path that cattle sellers would use to transit all the way down to Chile. While we transit this path we find an incredible amount of ruins on its way.
This route is the most direct to reach the highest summit of the Nevado de Cachi, Libertador San Martin 6380mts, while through Las Cuevas you get a direct route to the second highest summit, Arne Hoygard 6184.
The route has got water all the way up until Rincon de Minas camp, from there you need to carry it until the last campsite, Nivometro.
