You can reach Krasno either from the coast (Sveti Juraj 24km) or from Otocac (21km). This route is combination of beech forests and huge open spaces of Jezera plateau. It is not easy but also not too tough.

On the main crossroad in the center of Krasno take ‘Stirovaca’ direction. After few hundred meters is a first junction, right towards Zavizan. Take next junction towards right into Anici hamlet. Behind the last houses wide path firstly ascends over the grassy slopes but soon enters the forest. After 2 hours of steep ascent you reach Zarez pass at the edge of Jezera. In front of you is massive Mali Rajinac (1699m).

Next hour you’ll spend walking over beautiful Jezera grassland which are surrounded with beech and spruce forest. After reaching ruins of Crikvina path crossing you turn right (straight is towards Mali Rajinac peak and Lom valley). Path goes slightly up and down, sometimes through lonely spruce and fir trees. At the end of Jezera path ascends till Buljevac crossing of paths (left is path to Zavizanski Pivcevac and Mali Rajinac peaks). Continue straight, than right around large funnel shaped meadow. On the other side of it is Zalovacka Kosa pass. 10 more minutes through the beech forest and you are on Zavizan road. Go left. In 5 minutes you are out of the forest, in front is cone of Zavizanska Kosa (1620m). Path turns right, above the road, steeply ascending for 5 minutes to Zavizan hut.
