Just a weekend trip to Mt Shasta (CR & AG) - May 3-6, 2013

In spite of all rumors about the Casaval Ridge being out of shape and done for the season I decided to climb it anyway and after all found the route in one of the easiest and safest conditions I’ve ever climbed it. I’m not sure why so many people have been spreading such confusing information. Check it out by yourself in the video and pictures.

However, the last day I spent on Avalanche Gulch was in a bit different conditions and only a few people decided to challenge it.
