Žirovniška planina in winter
Žirovniška planina (pasture) is close to the Valvasor mountain hut, the main trail head for Stol / Hochstuhl ascent from the south. In winter, the hut is closed and also the two huts on the pasture. Still, the place is quite frequented, because from here up to the summit also the winter normal route and a steep tour skiing ascent go. January 11th, 2022.
