Description

Glacier Noir is Barre des Ecrins south side and Ailefroide-Pelvoux north side glacier. Most of the glacier is covered with stones.
The glacier is made of 2 Branches, the north one on the Ecrins side, the south one on the Ailefroide-Pelvoux side.

This is the second biggest glacier in Ecrins range.
This is a valley glacier.
