Route Description

Climbing the ridge of Jez in Winter conditions.

From the parking place you start walking on the skiing slopes and you have to reach the highest point of the skiing area Krvavec. That is the summit of Veliki Zvoh (1971m).

From the summit of Veliki Zvoh you start walking on the beautiful ridge of Jez that is between the Veliki Zvoh and Vrh Korena. On this ridge you have to climb on some place and be careful on some airy parts. The hardest part is in some ravine in the middle of the ridge. But this place is well secured and you won`t have any problems.

Soon you will reach the summit of Vrh Korena. Then you have to descend on the big saddle between the Vrh Krena and Kompotela. Here comes from the south side the route from the Korosica valley.

You reach the summit of Kompotela over the last grassy slope.

You turn back over the same route or you can choose the possibility on the meadow Dolga njiva and then over the north slopes back on the skiing area of Kvavec.
