Approach

Follow the Manter Trail (directions on the main page) to the saddle about 1.5 miles east of Little Manter Meadow (Pass 7320+). Leave the trail here and hike north cross-country past Point 7846 for about three quarters of a mile.

The peak can also be approached more directly via a gully that heads northeast up to the saddle between Peak 8060 and Peak 8360+. This option features yucca, some bushwhacking, and likely some additional class 3 scrambling too. It is better to climb the peak from the saddle.

Route Description

Contour up around the east side of the peak to where you should spot an obvious weakness in the face as shown below. Easy scrambling on good rock with abundant holds leads up to low-angle slabs that take you up to the summit.

Essential Gear

None required.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
