Approach



Walk from the hamlet of Seneca Rocks across the Potomac up Roy Gap Road. Pass between the South End and the Southern Pillar. Take a left walk up the hill along the east face till you can conveniently reach the Broadway Ledge beneath the gunsight. Climb to ledge 5.0-5.1 Walk south on ledge until under the Conns'
east -Soler flake.

Route Description

Climb the flake 130 feet and at its top move to the north end of the flake where it is blocked by a vertical crack Don't drop the rope behind the flake. Belay the next pitch out of this crack. Climb 50 feet to right of this crack by committing to the face eventually reaching buckets on the vertical wall. Belay here in the chimney. Climb up the chimney past the chockstone to the belay on the very narrow summit ridge of the south Peak 100 feet.

Essential Gear

Stoppers, hexes, friends-more of the medium stuff. One 50 meter rope will do the 3 rappels out the the west window by traffic jam.
