Approach

Use the same approach used for 'Stair Trek'. The route starts 50 feet left of Stair Trek and 15 feet left of 'Flight Of Stairs'.

Route Description

Start by making steep friction moves to the first bolt (5.9+). Once at the 1st bolt, move up sloping chicken heads and small edges (.10a). Pass two more bolts along the way. After bolt #3 is encountered, the route runs out a bit (25') to the final bolt (5.8). After bolt #4, the route goes EASY 5th to a two-bolt chained anchor (70' pitch). One can continue up and walk off the route via the Moro Rock stairs, 50 feet above the anchors. To get to the bolts for top roping, rap from a black oak just below the 'Great western Divide' sign (at the railing). There are typically slings here. Also be prepared for the dozens of comments from the "Tourons" (ie "Look, Bernice......that man is gonna jump! Oh, dear God!")

Essential Gear

+ 50 meter rope
+ a half dozen quickdraws
+ three locking carabiners and slings

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
