Outstanding photo ...and one of the few postings from Germany!
It's often Switzerland, Poland, Austria and Hungary that seem to grab the viewer's attention. Not that
it's right or wrong, mind you.
I'm going to quit before I start an international incident!!!

Re: Outstanding photo ...Thank you very much. You're right, there are in fact only few photos from the German Alps or other areas in Germany. But that's ok. There are beautiful places everywhere. Our passion for the outdoors and mountains should have no borders whatsoever. Mountain ranges certainly don't care about them. Cheers, Guido

A great regionWell, I didn't winter summit. Though the consolation was the great German / Austrian food. Nearby Pertisau is to be recommended.
