Simple Fun
Death Jim and I had a good time on this route with some threatening weather. Love the knobs and off-width!

Zee Tree
With my daughter, part of a 7 day, 7 climb fathers day extravaganza....can't imagine those who do not finish out on top, the last corner pitch is the best. We reached the top in 4 pitches with a 70m. One short rap and walk down from there. Pretty easy climbing compared to any other routes in Tuolumne.

My First Tuolumne Climb
Nice intro; I had lots of fun. Love the low angle slab!! The view atop amazingly is one of the nicest!

good route
As many other folks have stated, finding the start to Zee Tree is difficult. We found it after a half hour of probing. I lead pitches 1,2, and 5. The Prophet lead 3 and 4. That crux right off the bolted anchors on the 2nd pitch are certainly thought provoking!
Mind boggling views from the summit.

Nice Day
This was a fun route. The slab section of the climb was super nice and mellow. The headwall just before the finish was the best part.

Good stuff !
Climbed with Joel. Led all pitches except for #2 (5.3). Love that dihedral - great holds and fun stemming !
Hot weather in the meadows, started ~9:15am, done by 11:45.

Fun & easy
Simul-climbed this one. Fun easy route. The 5.7 layback is a fun finish

zee tree
It took us 1.5 hours to find the two bolts at the end of 4th class approach. Very hard to see. The 5.7 pitch is the only hard pitch. Lots of fun friction climb.

Fun route
Enjoyed a Tuolumne slab climb that didn't have an 'r' attached to the rating. Turned out to be one of the most well protected routes I have done in Tuolumne. Fun and casual. Way less stressful than the Dike Route right next door.
Climbed again on October 8, 2007, took a green partner and lead all 4 pitches. Still fun.
And once more July 19, 2009, all 4 pitches in 1 hour 20 minutes, ctc in under 2 hours (we started really late and were motivated by darkness).
If I had climbed this route before the Dike Route, I might have enjoyed it more. The Dike Route is fabulous.

My first Tuolumne Lead
A fun day on the Dome. Dirk let me lead the first 3 pitches, which were quite thrilling as I am not used to the bolt spacin in Tuolumne Meadows! It started to reain near the end, and Dirk quickly finished the last 2 pitches. A great climb.
