Yuzhu feng Peak
Three American women successfully summitted on October 23 as part of the American Alpine Club and Chinese Mountaineering Association combined American Chinese climbing trip.
they were:
Marilyn Geninatti from Paradise Valley AZ, first summitter
Lenka Stafl from Oregon
Porter Teegarden from Telluride CO
we climbed with the CMA and were very fortunate to have support of the awesome DR MA and several Chinese and Tibetan climbers. We summitted from the South approach on a day that was about minus 5 degrees C.
Everest summiter Cerin put up fixed ropes a few days ahead of us.
a great trip, a wonderful experience.
Nancy Norris, Eliza Moran, Amanda Henckl made high camp and were part of the exceptional team effort.

Route Climbed: South Route Date Climbed: Oct. 2004It's a entrance level mountain. The only thing is the basecamp based on the 5200m, a little bit higher for normal people to fit.
I failed because the bad weather and short of time to waiting. If i could stay two more days, everything changes.

Route Climbed: Normal route Date Climbed: June 1992Rather easy peak, which demands only one camp on the mountain.
